Ashley Fitzsimmons (Moderator)
Director of Professional Development
Ohio Insurance Agents
Known in some circles as The Beyoncé of Insurance (and not just because she runs the world of risk), Ashley Fitzsimmons brings both street cred and sparkle to the classroom. A proud millennial and fourth-generation insurance professional, she spent nearly a decade at her family’s independent agency near Scranton, PA, where she lived the day-to-day hustle of servicing clients, explaining coverage, and yes—sometimes writing policies for online dating horror stories turned learning moments.
In 2018, Ashley was named National CSR of the Year, thanks to her fierce dedication to her clients and her ability to make even the driest of policy language feel personal and relevant. Now, as Director of Professional Development at OIA, she’s traded client calls for coaching agents across the country—helping them grow, thrive, and avoid common pitfalls she knows all too well.
Whether she's leading a workshop, keynoting a conference, or chatting over a martini, Ashley brings authenticity, humor, and serious know-how to every conversation. She’s been where you are—and now she’s here to help you level up.
