    Jamey Alwood has a comprehensive background in the insurance industry, beginning his career in 2001 at an independent agency in Schaumburg, Illinois. Over the years, he has gained extensive experience in various roles across multiple insurance carriers, including Travelers, American Modern, Erie Insurance, and Mercury Insurance.

    In 2019, he joined RLI as a Senior Account Executive focusing on Personal Umbrella insurance, and he has since advanced to the position of Director of Strategic Accounts and Distribution. Jamey is an alumnus of Southern Illinois University Carbondale and has furthered his education through the Westfield Insurance TAPP program and the Hartford School of Insurance. He also holds the Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation from the National Alliance.

    Jamey resides in suburban Chicago with his wife Angela and their three children: Maddy, Katie, and Danny.
