AILP Coverage: Workers' Compensation

This course is part of the AILP designation with the Massachusetts Association of Insurance Agents (MAIA). This course can be taken as part of the designation program, OR just for general CE credit as this course provides great content to increase your industry knowledge!

This course will review the following topics:

• Independent contractor vs. employee
• 3A vs. 3C vs. Limited Other States Endorsements
• Part I Benefits and what it doesn't pay
• Part II EL and third-party action over dual capacity, consequential loss, and exclusions
• Important endorsements such as USLHW, Maritime, Voluntary Compensation, and waiver of our right to recover, and when we qualify for them
• Addressing the leasing situation

**We do recommend taking the multiple choice exam if you do take the course, just in case you decide in the future that you want the designation, that way you do not have to take the course again just to get access to the exam.
