Steven Lyon is the Founder and Principal of Lyon Consulting Services, LLC, an independent educational consulting firm.  Steve utilizes his 37 years of experience that comes from owning, operating, and managing a third-generation independent insurance agency in Northern New Jersey. In addition to owning an agency, Steve has served as the Regional Director of Education for a large brokerage firm, and was Regional Vice President in charge of personal lines for the Insurance Division of a dynamic Banking Institution. 

 Steve earned his CIC designation in 1980 and CRM in 2003.  In addition, he holds the CPCU, ARM, AAI, AFIS, CRIS, AIS and MLIS designations.  He is a National Faculty member for the National Alliance who regularly speaks at Ruble Graduate Seminars, CIC Institutes, Dynamic of Service classes, and CISR programs throughout the United States and Puerto Rico.  In addition, Steve works closely with a wide variety of Professional Insurance Agent Associations, Independent Insurance Agent Associations, Large Brokers and Insurance Carriers.
