Participants will be required to complete self-paced modules each morning, then attend live instructor-led education in the afternoon. The course runs for five days, Monday through Friday. Participants will complete the self-study material between 8 AM EST and 12 PM EST. Participants will then attend a live instructor-led class from 1 PM EST to 5 PM EST.

Chris Kendall spent the majority of his working career with the Cincinnati Financial Corporation, where he was Vice President and Director of their Commercial Lines operations, which included close to 1,000 employees. His duties included both teaching and managing underwriter training classes in property & casualty insurance. Chris also has experience performing management duties on the agency side with Assured Partners. He is now Executive Director of the Greater Cincinnati Insurance Board, the longest running insurance agent's association in America, founded in 1838. Chris has been teaching property & casualty pre-license classes, as well as continuing education, in both a live and virtual environment for 7 years.

Ashley Fitzsimmons is the Director of Professional Development with the Ohio Insurance Agents Association. Prior to her work in education and training, Ashley spent years working in an independent insurance agency, where she gained hands‑on experience with client service, coverage conversations, and risk prevention. In this course, Ashley draws on real‑life agency scenarios to bring practical context to the power of prevention and the essentials of effective service.

As the Property & Casualty Training Specialist, Rachel employs her industry knowledge and a strong foundation in instructional design and adult learning to assist independent agents. She possesses her P&C license and her Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation. Rachel brings current, practical knowledge of risk management into the courses she develops. Drawing on 15 years of experience in education and training, she specializes in designing engaging e-learning experiences that translate complex insurance concepts into clear, interactive, and real-world applicable content. Her focus is on creating learner-centered training that builds confidence, improves retention, and equips agents with the skills they need to succeed in today’s dynamic insurance environment.
