This course provides insurance professionals with the foundational concepts that shape the insurance industry, and the importance of the role insurance professionals play in serving clients and communities. Participants will gain a clear understanding of what insurance is, who the key players are within an agency, and how insurers operate. This course then builds on that foundation by reviewing essential terminology, examining how policies are structured, and learning how insurance rates are developed. Finally, this course will touch on Errors and Omissions (E&O) exposure for agents, an important consideration for anyone working in the industry.
